New General Terms and Conditions for the Connection and Injection Contract

On 2 July 2025, the CRE approved the new general terms and conditions of the connection and injection contract for biomethane or low-carbon gas production units to the NaTran network.
Initiated in April 2024 by NaTran, the update to the general terms and conditions was subject to consultation within the Injection Working Group and the Pyro Club, followed by a consultation with the relevant stakeholders. It is now approved by the CRE and applies by law to all existing and future contracts.
This update incorporates feedback from NaTran's experience and client expectations, particularly regarding availability guarantees, the management of breaches, communication methods, and a clarification of certain technical requirements relating to injection stations.
Beyond these clarifications and improvements, this new version of the general terms and conditions now allows for the integration of projects from innovative sectors (non-biogenic inputs and low-carbon gas production).
