The diversity of profiles at NaTran
A driving force for the company’s attractiveness, innovation and collective performance, our diversity of profiles and career paths is one of the cornerstones of the NaTran2030 transformation programme. It helps to give us the confidence we need to tackle the challenges of the energy transition more effectively.
At NaTran, diversity is actively promoted and integrated
This approach makes it a key factor in improving our sustainable performance. We view complementarity of expertise as a source of richness and productivity, by providing key benefits of creativity, learning from differences, improved decision-making, the exchange of viewpoints, a stronger sense of belonging, etc.
In this way, it becomes a driver of attractiveness, innovation and collective performance. This supports our commitment to developing the skills of our 3,136 permanent staff, 124 of whom are dedicated to innovation through NaTran R&I. It allows us to address a key challenge associated with the energy transition: safeguarding the critical expertise of today and developing the key skills of tomorrow.
The range of skills and challenges involved in the energy transition
This diversity of skills helps us to tackle the challenges of the energy transition, which is transforming infrastructure and technologies, as well as our professions.
To support the developments linked to new energy challenges – such as transporting renewable gases, low-carbon hydrogen or CO2 through our infrastructures – we promote diversity in all its forms: gender, age, social or cultural background, career path, disability, experience, expertise, etc.
- We are continuing to pursue our proactive policy on diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities.
In 2024, we were awarded the Diversity Label by AFNOR for a further four years. We have held this label since 2015. In addition, all employees have access to whistleblowing, listening and support systems. - We support the employment of people with disabilities, through our sixth disability agreement, which will run from 2025 to 2028. Disability awareness-raising campaigns and initiatives were carried out in 2025. The 2025 employment rate for people with disabilities (137 employees) was 5.29% (4.94% in 2024).
- We are making progress in terms of gender equality in the workplace, with women accounting for 25.6% of the permanent workforce in 2025 (25.2% in 2024). The gender equality index remains stable at 99/100. At the same time, we are continuing to promote the inclusion of women in our technical professions among young people.
- We help to foster a culture of inclusion within NaTran and to create an inclusive working environment;
In 2025, our commitment to the association L’Autre Cercle was renewed in this regard.
Our actions are based on a fundamental principle: to succeed in the energy transition, we need all talents.
