Entry and Exit capacity offer

Thanks to its central position in the heart of Europe, the French transmission network stands out as a key gas export hub to Italy (via Switzerland), Germany (via Switzerland or the France–Germany VIP), Belgium and Spain.

France therefore plays a strategic role within the European gas system, providing essential entry and exit capacities at the crossroads of supply and transit flows, particularly towards Eastern Europe.

Auction of firm capacities at our Interconnection Points (IPs)

  • Dunkerque: As the primary pipeline entry point for gas supply in France, Dunkerque plays a central role in both national and European security of supply. In 2025, it recorded a 82% utilization rate, demonstrating its strong performance, reliability and central role within the European gas system.
  • Oltingue: A key gateway to the Italian market, this strategic interconnection point offers highly attractive capacity levels. 
    In 2025, 92% of the available firm capacity was utilised, demonstrating sustained market interest

Auction of interruptible capacities, as well as firm entry capacity at Oltingue.

Annual capacity auctions at NaTran’s Interconnection Points (IP-s) will be held on the PRISMA platform.
