Against a backdrop of industrial, technological and digital transformation, NaTran is reaffirming its commitment to the energy transition. To support this development, the company is relying on research and innovation and is strengthening its collaboration with the start-up ecosystem. With this in mind, the Nova incubator is launching a new call for applications to identify and support innovative solutions for a low-carbon future. The call for applications is open from now until October 17th, 2025.

In January 2026, the Nova incubator will host a new group of up to four start-ups for a period of one year. The winners will have shared workspaces on NaTran's premises. They will also benefit from the support of its NaTran R&I research and innovation centre, with access to test areas and the support of researchers. The Nova incubator will also offer start-ups tailor-made technical, methodological and entrepreneurial support (market research, economic studies, intellectual property expertise, contacts with investment funds, etc.).

Natran is committed to a 2030 corporate project that places Natran at the heart of the energy transition and is part of the company's journey towards carbon neutrality by 2050. Research and innovation are one of the levers on which these objectives are based. The themes targeted for this year's event are directly in line with the priorities of our NaTran2030 corporate project:

  • Accelerating the growth of renewable gases (biomethane, pyrogasification, syngas, etc.)
  • Transporting hydrogen and CO2 2 under optimum safety and performance conditions
  • Adapting the network and our practices to changes in consumption (flexibility, digital, etc.)
  • Developing our practices in favour of the climate (rreducing emissions, sobriety) and biodiversity.

The selected start-ups will be able to launch experiments, to benefit from NaTran's expertise and tp capitalise on synergies with the other members of the promotion. "Enabling entrepreneurs committed to the energy transition to benefit from our facilities and experience is fully in line with our approach to research and innovation in support of decarbonisation. With the Nova incubator, which was launched four years ago, we are proud to be doing our bit to contribute to the dynamism of the industry as a whole," says Pierre Blouet, Director of NaTran R&I.

The call for applications is open from now until October 17th, 2025. Nova will select the winning companies on the basis of 5 main criteria: quality, feasibility, innovative nature, matching expectations and motivation.

Practical information on sourcing, the incubation process, actions and testimonials from former incubated start-upsis available. To date, 11 start-ups have already benefited from this support: LC-Engineering, Octométha and Rift in 2025, SeADvance, Mirega, Revcoo and Safehear in 2024 and Lium, Alhoma Systems, Ylssen and Lynx for the class of 2023.
