Because the energy transition is a collective challenge, NaTran works in close collaboration with all its stakeholders. This ongoing dialogue fosters trust, helps to identify shared solutions and strengthens our ability to achieve sustainable performance. It is by uniting everyone’s expertise and aspirations that we bring to life projects which create value for local communities and future generations.
Decarbonising and adapting the network
As a network infrastructure company, NaTran operates at the heart of a regulated national and European ecosystem whose expectations and needs are taken into account in order to decarbonise and adapt its renewable and low-carbon energy transport network.
For NaTran, there can be no sustainable performance without its stakeholders
Our stakeholder mapping reveals several circles:
- Regulators and public authorities: the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), central government, local authorities
- Market actors
- Technical and scientific partners
- Internally: employees, governing bodies, shareholders, representative organisations
Dialogue with our stakeholders is a cornerstone of our governance
We maintain an ongoing dialogue with each of our stakeholders. To this end, we rely on a structured governance framework comprising the Board of Directors the Executive Committee and, since 2024, the Stakeholder Council, which brings together customers, local authorities, the agricultural sector, suppliers and environmental organisations. This structured consultation process is essential to the success of our projects, which are designed in collaboration with local authorities, industry, voluntary organisations, institutional stakeholders and local residents. It enables us to anticipate challenges, communicate expectations, and explain and refine projects in order to increase their acceptability.
With this in mind, we are jointly developing our CSR approach and sharing the relevant performance indicators with a wide range of stakeholders, particularly at a local level, in order to identify our priorities and draw up our action plans.
These exchanges serve as channels for consultation, helping to support the energy transition for the long term. It is by working together with all stakeholders in the sector that NaTran can transform its networks and adapt them to the energy needs of the future.
