Between 2022 and 2023, NaTran carried out studies into the physical risks associated with climate change and likely to impact its facilities (underground pipelines and surface installations, including compressor stations).
Analysis of the various scenarios and climate projections 33 concluded that in the event of a major climatic event, the company’s infrastructures remain resilient: industrial safety and supply continuity are maintained. In 2024, this study was supplemented by a financial assessment of NaTran’s climate adaptation strategy, allowing the company to estimate the cost of the adaptations required to mitigate residual risks.
